Pragmatic approach with theoretical knowledge is the necessity to learn any field. Guest lectures, seminars and workshops enable the students in enriching the latest updates regarding avenues for higher studies and jobs as well as the need of the industry. To extend learning beyond the classroom teaching, we invite the eminent personalities of various fields and stalwarts of the industry to lend valuable information from their first-hand experience and enhance the knowledge of our students.

1) Guest Lecture was conducted on 5th Dec. 2019.The topic was “Winning skills to succeed in Corporate World”. Resource person Dr. Satya Siddhartha Panda is the CEO of I Nurture. He emphasized the importance of communication skill, leadership skill, technical skill and time management. He also shared his knowledge regarding skill set requirement in different areas of specialization.

2) Guest Lecture was conducted on 11th Dec. 2019. The topic was “Financial Awareness and Digital Banking”. Resource person Mr. Suresh Shetty is the Retired Chief Manager of Syndicate Bank. He discussed about the need of financial awareness among our younger generation. Most of the students are clueless regarding the management of their Finance. He explained in detail about the banking services digitization.
3) Guest Lecture was conducted on 14th Dec. 2019. The topic was “Pragmatic Challenges faced by Entrepreneurs”. Resource person Dr. Padma Srinivasan is the Director Academics at Indian School of Business and Computing. She quoted several examples of different successful companies who have started at a very basic level and now they are major players in the market
4) Guest Lecture was conducted on 28th Dec. 2019. The topic was “Digital Transformation in Business”. Resource person Mr. Arshad Hasnain is the Digital Marketing Consultant in Bangalore. He explained how the use of new, fastand frequently changing technology is used to solve the pragmatic problems of Multinational Companies.
5) Guest Lecture was conducted on 11thJanuary, 2020. The topic was “Careers in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance”. Resource person Mr. BiswadipakTripathy is a Circle Current Account Head, Sales & Strategy, Wholesale Banking products at Axis Bank. He explained in detail about the career avenues available in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance.
